A new fuel supply system for Vancouver Airport, comprising a marine jet fuel facility, 80 million litre fuel tank farm and pipeline, was constructed in spite of local opposition and heavy protests. This pipeline was to help meet Vancouver International Airports current and future needs for fuel. The project comprised of a 13 kilometer underground jet fuel pipeline through Richmond to YVR, upgrading the previous 40-year-old system.

Securiforce was responsible for keeping all materials/equipment equipment secure after-hours and guiding the public to designated walkways. Using our proprietary technology, we were able to provide stakeholders with a real-time view of the security operations occurring on site. Potential protestors and civilians who had questions were designated to the correct part. Securiforce personnel followed strict directions on dealing with the public.
